Gathering Tray made from locally sourced Black Acacia, hand built in our shop in Los Angeles. For harvesting, picnicking, foraging, table setting, pruning and collecting. The tray is lightweight and easy to carry, a generous size for gathering, and strong enough to transport heavy dishes and cutlery. An octagonal handle is joined with traditional mortise and tenons. The handle risers are connected to the tray walls with hand made through dowels. The tray bottom is a solid hardwood book-matched panel, dadoed into the tray walls, which are connected with box joints at each corner. Finished with hardwax oil
