Made from locally sourced Blue Gum Eucalyptus and hand built in our shop in Los Angeles. Strong and sturdy, the stump stool can be used for sitting or as a complementary side table. The design plays off of square-milled architectural tree stumps often found in contemporary garden arrangements. The seat is attached to the frame with hidden fasteners. The cantilevered frame is constructed with cross-lap joints and reinforced with screws and exterior wood glue. Blue Gum Eucalyptus is extremely dense and contains natural oils and resins which offer protection against the elements. Finished with a linseed-based UV-protection oil. For indoor or outdoor use.
